Just a couple of places that we have hiked to / traveled to so far. Last summer we drove to Las Vegas, Nevada and also passed through (not pictured) Tennessee, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Colorado, Nebraska, Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, and West Virginia. I am looking forward to many more adventure with my man and I encourage you all to just get out and GO. Take vacations, go as many places as you can. You can always make money but you can't always make memories

Beaver Creek Reservoir Kayaking
Kayaking at the Beaver creek reservoir in Martinsville Virginia was an absolute blast. I would highly recommend that anyone looking to get involved with kayaking start here. This is a still water body so its excellent for beginners. NO gas engines are allowed on the water so there is no fear of any serious wake. However the water is some spots here are pretty deep so a life jacket is highly recommended. This beautiful place is also great for seasoned paddlers looking for a good workout as it requires effort for any movement. Now get outside, enjoy yourself and make some memories. :)

Second Backpacking Trip
This past Labor Day weekend (September 6th and 7th)
we hiked the Appalachian Trail -> Reeds Gap -> Mau-har Trail. We hiked a mile Sunday and camped since we ran out of light. The next morning we started at 7:00 a.m and finished at 3:30 p.m. We was SO relieved to be back at the car after that 10 hour hike! Lol it's Thursday evening and my calves are still sore! I must say though I absolutely love seeing others being outdoors more and I truly feel like since me and travis started hiking all the time that we are encouraging others! Happy Trails to yall :)
I must say this is one of the more difficult hikes that we have endured. However this will not be keeping us from tackling it once again. We are currently planning another trip to Roseland Virginia to enjoy another challenging day. As you will notice I did say DAY. This time we will be simply carrying our day packs and packing minimal weight. Now we are well aware that 14.4 miles (more like 15 with side trails) will not be an easy feat (on what is in my opinion an experience the hardest 1 day loop hike with comparable mileage). That's all part of the fun. We are recruiting another adventurous as well as athletic couple to complete this fun filled yet challenging day with us. We will keep you guys posted as we plan and prepare ourselves for the trip. HAPPY TRAILS YA'LL :)

Just Getting Started
Hey guys,
my boyfriend and I are moving out of our house and plan on moving into our camper and traveling around the world. Our camper is a 1983 Toyota Dolphin and we are currently working on "glamping" it! Some people think we are absolutely crazy for wanting to live in such a little place but people don't realize that we are saving soooooo much money! We won't have to pay rent, light bill, or a vehicle payment. Now some of you may ask " how are you planning on taking a shower and using electricity?" Well to answer your question we are going completely off grid and applying solar panels for electricity and we plan on parking the camper beside a spring which will provide us with water. Now other people have asked me "what about if you and travis have kids?" Well of course we do want kids one day so what we plan on doing is buying us a 12x40 lofted building and turning it into a tiny house. It'll be about $5,000, I don't know about you but we think that's soo much cheaper than buying a house and paying on it for 30+ years. We are very excited to be doing this together and we want you to follow us
along with our many journeys to come :)
